My teenaged daughter and I loved this place. It was not far out of Sorrento and can be reached by a city bus or walking. (Don't take a taxi, it will cost you 20 Euros). It is a large wooded property with wonderful views of the ocean and of Sorrento. Access to the ocean to swim is a little tricky as it is a bit rocky, but still great and the pool area is large. The cabins are pretty tiny, but clean and comfortable.
it was really a surprise for us.i didn't think it was such a cute house made of wood.really wonderful experience.
i felt cold when i slept because i didn't get a thick quilt. In the forest, the night is cold e wet.so i suppose that the customer deserved the qiult warm enough.
Incredible views over the bay, private beach (slab of rock!) and swimming pool! Lovely restaurant, great for young groups or families.
Good views, Nice swimming pool
Could have had site literature I.e when shop /restaurant opens, Bus details Maps of areas. Walk to Sorrento is quite treacherous in places as main road & no Pavements.
The view from the Bungalow was amazing. Staff were fairly friendly. Mainly the price. Pretty much the cheapest you will be able to find anywhere near Sorrento / Amalfi.
The room was not overly clean. The bathroom was more like a beach shower than a bathroom. We were given fairly crappy bad smelling blankets that did not look like they had ever been washed. It was about a half an hour walk from Sorrento. No public transport until you get to Sorrento. It was good but we will probably not cheap out and go somewhere else next time.
We were surprised and delighted with our stay at the campground. Everyone else was staying in hotels with no views because they were afraid to camp! We had the best time ever! The place was quiet and serene at night. The facilities were top-notch. The restaurant served delicious and affordable food, gourmet every night! Our waiter was Savello? I might have spelled that wrong but he was phenomenal! We stayed at the Giarda Bungalo and had the best time at the campground. The market was nice and the staff was so friendly at the check in - front desk. They even helped my friend who tried to drive stick shift but couldnt so they helped her get unstuck! They never made us feel out of place. Thank you all for your hospitality!
There was nothing wrong with any of it!
The location of the camp ground overlooking the Bay of Naples was magnificent.
The cabins are a bit old and tired. A bit of money need to be spent on repairs and maintenance to bring them up to a satisfactory standard.
Great location, easy access to Pompeii, swimming and the center of Sorrento.
Hotel staff were rude at times, though it might of been from not having enough staff to work the crowds. The cabins were livable but full of ants and no screens on the windows to keep bugs from eating you at night. I would stay again but bring a camper or tent and food to cook. Perfect location for camping
Wery beautiful seaside. In territory of the hotel you will have all you need.
Wi-fi is nit free.
The view from the restaurant over Sorrento was million dollar and the food was fantastic value and wonderful which was a surprise for a campground. The pool was great and the beach area was excellent. The organised excursions were excellent especially the trip to Capri on the "Tritone", and staff were very helpful and accommodating.
The accommodation left a lot to be desired, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and bedding and blankets smelt of urine. The bathroom area was full of mould. Take lots of insect repellant as windows and doors don't fully close with gaps all around them. the campground is very dated and needs a major overhaul but then this is Italy where living in a state of ancient decrepitness is a way of life! The only redeeming features were the staff and restaurant food and views, and excursions offered.
Best value I could find for 4-person accommodations near sorrento. Rustic but pleasant. Views from some of the cabins ("bungalows") are spectacular.
Poor service at the camp ground's restaurant. Our bungalow wasn't clean when we arrived, but management quickly corrected the problem and apologized.
The location was great as it was just outside of Sorrento and a short walk to the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did a great job.
It was very musty smelling and they don't provide towels. The staff was very friendly, but this was a old cabin we stayed in and it is very very basic. I would only recommend to someone looking for bare bones accommodations.
The location and the view. Peaceful and relaxing.
The kitchen was very poor equipped. Bring your own knives if you want to chop anything.
The site is very peaceful and green. The mobile home had a large verandah. We spent alot of time swimming and it wasnt crowded on the small "beach".
There is only bedding provided, so remember your own towels, soap, dishwashing liquid, oil, salt etc. It was very small inside the mobile home. barely room to fit our luggage. The beach while wonderful for us, was more like an entry point to the sea, you had to scramble down or jump off rocks and it is very deep, may not be ideal for young children. however there is also a pool. While only 2 km away from town taxis try to charge 15 to 30 euro. There is a bus every 20mins.
Staff very nice and helpful. Cabins good, great views, peaceful. Transport to town and other places good.
